Find-Me / Follow-Me lets you select multiple locations to dial when someone calls you. If you were to specify a cell phone, your office business phone and a telephone at another branch office the system will call all these telephones at the same time, or in sequence if you prefer. We call this different numbers at which you can be reached “locations.” This feature allows you to always be able to receive your business calls without having to worry about where you are physically present. Find-Me / Follow-Me can use one of two dialing modes – simultaneous or sequential. Under the simultaneous mode, our Hosted PBX will briefly place the customer on hold while it dials all the locations you’ve specified at the same time. Whichever location picks up first will get the call. Under sequential mode, when a customer calls your extension, he or she would be automatically placed briefly on hold while the system (for example) first calls your office phone, and then, if there is no answer tries your cellular phone, and finally tries an alternative cell phone number before returning to the extensions Phone voicemail. One of the advantages of this feature over call forwarding is that you can retain control over where the call is sent, and where it ends up if there is no answer at any location. Many clients prefer to have calls end in their voicemail box as mentioned above, which allows them to take advantage of our voicemail to e-mail feature.
